Philosophy

It is the mission of The Milton School to conduct, under non-profit auspices, an educational environment that implements the directive of each pupil’s school district’s individualized educational program.  This program should attempt to extend and develop each pupil’s potential, social as well as academic, to the fullest.  It is the obligation of The Milton School to maintain and develop a professional staff qualified and dedicated to administering such services, and to maintain an administratively strong and financially stable institution.

The Milton School is committed to the philosophy of its founders who, in every aspect of their work, made felt their profound concern for every pupil.  The Milton School shall be dedicated to an atmosphere of sensitivity to need, mutual respect, and love.  It is in such an environment that The Milton School has flourished and only in that spirit, will it prosper in the future.
